Stamped overlay is applied at a thickness of 3/8” over the existing concrete with all the design possibilities of stamped concrete. Because they are polymer based, they are actually stronger and more durable then concrete.
Hand troweled micro thin overlays can give beautiful textured surfaces. With scoring or grout lines made with the use of tape, and give very realistic patterns.
Micro toppings are applied less that 1/8” thick to resurface existing concrete. Micro topping can be colored by using stains or integral colors. Transform ugly concrete into new, smooth colored concrete surfaces.
Epoxy floor coatings provide a wear resistant and chemical resistant surface for residential, commercial, and industrial applications. They come in a wide variety of color options, including several choices of color flake. We also use bright metallic epoxy finishes that give a three dimensional appearance.
Stamps aren’t the only way to put patterns in your concrete or overlay. Stencils can have brick, stone, tile and many other patterns, or with use of a special tape, we can make our own patterns. The overlay can be sprayed or troweled over the stencil. After the overlay has set sufficiently to bear weight, stencils are removed leaving the pattern raised in relief with recessed mortar joints.
After spraying polymer concrete with a hopper gun, the texture can be left with the finish the hopper gun puts out, or can be troweled over to give a knock down finish.
Staining transforms a concrete slab into a luxurious floor that resembles marble or glazed stone. When concrete is stained and scored, it takes on the appearance of expensive flooring at a fraction of the cost. Each concrete slab accepts the stain in varying degrees of intensity, creating stunning, multi hued color variations and an uneven surface that looks perfectly aged.
Cleaning and sealing stamped and resurfaced concrete should be done on a regular basis just like any other home maintenance. The frequency will depend on how high a traffic area to cars, foot traffic, water, and any chemicals the concrete is exposed to. Resealing it at least ever two years is recommended, and just like waxing a car, reseal your concrete and the color will be as vibrant as the day it was installed.
Logos can be scored into the overlay or we can use stenciling or engraving methods to produce great images on the floor. Logos are a great way to display your company logo in an entryway or office.
SELF LEVELING OVERLAYMENTS AND UNDERLAYMENTS
Self leveling laments can be used for repair of damaged or worn concrete in preparation for tile or other floors. We can add an integral color to the material or can come back after material is hard and add stains or dyes to create colorful floors. The advantage of a self leveling system is that it can correct uneven floors, repair damaged floors, and at the same time provide a very dense, smooth durable floor.
